Fire broke out from the second floor of the Marcos Hall of Justice in Laoag City on the evening of May 13. Two of the seven trial courts in the building were destroyed while the others in the second floor were ruined in the firefighting process. The firefighters declared fire out at around 11:30 in the evening. The cause of fire in this four-decade old building was not immediately determined. (2010 © Alaric A. Yanos)
